I think it's cool I saw Squamish spit from the plane on the way to Price George. Saw a good turnout too.

Took an extra hour in long weekend traffic to get home. Was it worth it? Hell yah.

2 hrs of boosting on 12m+TT in steady SW 18-22 gusting 25 in smooth water and warm wind under sunny sky. Best session this long weekend. 4 consecutive days at Squamish :D :D :D :D

Tuesday report:. Arrived early to try to avoid rush hours. Wind was just kicking in but no one else there. Others arrived, pumped 7M but was wisely advised to wait due to West direction. Surprise 45 minutes Windsurf in flat River water. Only one out. Was fine for Windsurf but not kiting. Then waited a couple of hours for wind to clean up for kiting but finally joined the numbers of folks that bailed. A rare day when conditions rule for windsurfing but not kiting.

Hey Mike - I saw some video of you launching and windsurfing today on the Kiteclash Facebook site...score one for windsurfing over kiting.

Score 2 for Windsurf! That wasn't me. Must have been later in the day after I left.

At about 10:30am the mechanical wind-indicator was lulling down into its green zone, then one gust hit it so violently that it swung up past horizontal.
I left soon after that! :)

The SWS and iwindsurf sensors told very different stories today. Good session in the river from 2:30 to 4pm. Many kiters, 6 windsurfers.
