Thats awesome, Dave amd congrats to Ethan! He looks like a pro.

Shall I be the one to comment on the proverbial 'Elephant in the Sound' that Ethan appears to be having a blast ripping fully powered around his 'ol Dad whilst you schlog away, albeit quite stylishly, from semi-planing run to underpowered, wobbly tack?, :D ;)

Standard issue. Wasn't expecting much with the late start, traffic on the way up but it turned out to be solid, steady wind. You could tell it was a weekend with parking full about 2/3 way down the spit - almost all the way back to Francois' place. Kites a plenty and lots of pole dancers out today. Standard issue 5.3/115 for me. Fun steady wind and flat water in the river, jumping chop at the river mouth and some bumps up at the wall. Nice chatting with Francis before and AJ after. Glad I went.

Yesterday was my first Squampton sesh of the summer. Sun, typical 2017 gustiness, Mags 99.

1. Why is the water so cold? I thought it would've warmed up by now.
2. Vulcans and Spocks are so last year. All the kids are into shuvits and shakas now.

Back from 3 weeks in Toronto. Perfect 12m conditions for boosting. Super steady SW 18-22. Fatigued after 1.5 hrs - either out of shape or jet lagged.

No. It was a vacation from kitesurfing. Helped my daughter move in to the University of Toronto.

Strangely I didn't miss my time on the water much ... but so happy to be back.

Nice call Alton. If I were in my 20's I would move East, yesterday, if you want a future/family/avg life ... no doubt in my mind.

Steady 12 to 30 knots, perfect for 3.7 or 6.5 sail

The crazy part is there are people on the water in that.
