Water between the two sandbars was super smooth. Current was about 38 knots, which made launching off the rocks a bit tricky. Wind lasted all afternoon.

Peeps included Adrien, Adrian, Aaron, Aryn, Ardvark, Aardvark, Alison, Allison, and many more.

Any thoughts about Squamish for this afternoon? I sailed from Nexen yesterday and its seemed a little light. It's cooler in Vancouver this morning but wondering if the heat might negatively affect the wind.
Thanks,
Alex

WindGuru GFS looks similar so I expect similar conditions today. Just schlog up from Nexen to the Squamish river if it feels too light. Warning - it may be crowded today.

Nexen will be more difficult today compared to yesterday.

Great to be back from Onterrible. 2 hrs of boosting on 12m (full depower) +TT in the river mouth (sooo smoooooth) in steady SW 20-22. Pretty crowded in the river so had to bail on many jumps. Please accept my apologies if I cut you off.

So much fun in the river today, I've never been there with it flowing that fast, it was like a 2 hour downwinder. I had to jump continuously just so that I would go to far up wind into the choppy water. A 3 hour drive home was not fun though.

Another good day at Squamish. Arrived after the SW 25 bump and enjoyed a civilized 2 hr boosting session on 9m in the river. All wind was focussed in the river (ie. weak outside) so shared the smooooth water with everyone else.
