I'm looking at an O'Niell 5/4 with removable hood but all the local shops (Boardroom, Pacific Boarder, North Shore Ski & Board) are asking +\- $500+tax or more  . I prefer O'Neill simply because I know my sizing if buying online. Thanks!

The Nardz were nice and warm in my 5/4 excel suit at nexan today; the wind sucked balls though...
Not like yesterday where it was Thumpin!

Had a blast at kite clash. Very Few kites on the water, fairly smooth wind. Rode for a couple hours w/ Mark, Dan and Brad.

It got all crazy gusty near the end, watched Cash and Jack represent in the big air.

Good times.

It turns out Quicksilver do not have my size in 5/4. In fact, being only 5'6, 138 lbs, it seems MOST wetsuit companies do not make a 5/4 in XS. I thought buying a 5/4 would be quick and easy. I was prepared to buy an O'Neill Epic or even Mutant 5/4 in XS. Hmm. NOW what?!

For Squamish (and also for Boundary Bay) how early/late in the year can one sail in a 4/3 before a 5/4 is necessary? Are you guys in 5/4 or 4/3 now at Squamish?

Thanks for the link. Unfortunately no 5/4's in XS.

I was in a 4/3 last time I was there a couple weeks ago. My time is all the river and I'm in the water a fair bit. Was good but a little cool by the end (and I'm not tough). Always good to have a good winter wetsuit if you're fully committed. When my winter suit ages, putting a shorty over top makes a big difference.

Thanks for the idea. So in the winter you put a shorty over top? Haven't thought of that before. What thicknesses are the inner and outer suits? 4/3 inside and 2mm outside?
