Hoping for more wind today so the switch from 9m to 12m was a little disappointing. First hour from 9:30-10:30am was the usual "bump and jump" conditions at 3m tide on 9m+surfboard.

Returned to the water before noon on 12m+surfboard for an afternoon (2.5 hrs) of fun wave riding. Had to ride way outside and north of Centennial to find a patch of clean waves but it was worth it. Breaking waves knee to waist high with the occasional chest high were great for tons of hits. Sometimes under powered so missed a few but overall pretty awesome.

Good kiter turn out with Mike (dawn patrol on 7m), Cash, Lucas, Rob W, 8mdude, Shane, Chuck, James, Slappy and many more. Fun sharing the waves with windsurfers Michael, Dave/C36, Brian, Darrell and Richard.

P.S. Dave/C36 sorry I flew my kite so low towards you. A wave was quickly closing out on me so I wanted to avoid a major wipe out.

Definitely an understatement! Was a bit hard to get myself out there today, it still feels like January!! The wetsuit made it feel like I gained 100 pounds and the freezing hands were fun too. It's hard to stay agile in those conditions and I noticed I felt a lot more exhausted after todays session. Anyways enough whining, it was great to get out and see everyone again! Once the wind picked up the waves started pumping and things got fun. Nice to meet Mandi, again. :D hope you got out! It's great to be home.

2.5hrs TOW starting at 9 this morning at 3rd. Easterly on shore 12-18kts, stronger on the outside. Solo session working on my jibes with the new board. So stoked every time I got it. Some small knee/ waist high waves on the out side of the inner bank as the tide dropped but mostly disorganized mush. Mad respect to strapless riders

Awesome. Just remember to keep low and bend your knees when you switch your feet - easier strapless
