Looks like it should pick up mid/late morning, but TAF not picking anything up yet. All models on WG seem to show some SE.

satellite and surface analysis looks good:

Columbia beach, other side (parksville), island.

SE is best served at Columbia beach when strait delivers. Today is very slow ... I like bb, it's a little NEE, but Sandy Point just turned SE, same as Saturna. Waiting to go past 20 knots (12:30-2:30pm best wind by forecast), waiting.

Scored 1.5 hrs on 9m+surfboard at 3rd Ave / Centennial.

Everyone on 12m except Chalmers and I. Thought my 9m was a mistake as I couldn't keep upwind between 3rd Ave and the boat launch (ENE 16-18). Saw Chalmers (9m+TT) and Andrew (12m+TT) were lit on at the north end of Centennial so I went to join them. 4 knots stronger and smoother water (ENE 18-22). Even managed to boost a few times.

Big turnout over 15 kiters on the water including 8mdude, Matt, Slappy, Andrew, Chalmers, Shane, James and many more . All parking spots taken. Ended session at 2pm with sunny breaks and a dry kite. Nice taking a break from 3 consecutive POW days at Cypress.

I didn't have time to go to 3rd today so instead enjoyed a good 1:15 TOW at Jericho with Dan. Both of us on 12m. Fairly flat water and steady wind.
