NW Sunday?
Yeah I was on my 8-0 Log. Started just North of the rocks but wind/waves slowly blew me down South. Went in an rested a while then went back out on the lower tide at that bank just in front of where the breakwater meets the beach.

Arrived at Acadia around 7:30AM and had a quick look and it was cranking. Decided to rig my 3.7 and take out the 73L after some debate. Launched from the first gap just before the bridge and although tricky with the shore break, exposed rocks on either side, and the odd long rolling through, got out first shot. Schlogged for the first 50m then got planing off and on on the way out and nicely powered on the way back in. Again gusty on the way out then lull gust lull gust then lull, more lulls, and more lulls until I could barely waterstart with my hand on the mast down near the mast foot. Did the funky chicken for a while on my way back in as the 73L doesn't like to float 
and limped in down near Dog Beach.
The walk back to Acadia along the road warmed me up and I rigged up to my 4.7 and switched to the 101L. Adrien (AG) was out bobbing around on his 4.2 getting a ride here and there so headed back out. Launched from the same spot again and was well powered and had fun for the next 30 minutes until the wind basically shut down. Glad I had the flotation this time as my hands and arms were toast. Followed AG in and C36 wasn't too far behind as the wind died.
There were some really nice waist to chest high sets rolling through between the launch and Dog Beach. Caught a few backside rides, missed a few, and used them to get planing again. Staying upwind was not a possibility today but got back to the fence line just under the parking lot so the walk back up was not "technically" a walk of shame!
Good workout for sure but not a lot of powered up sailing unfortunately. Wanted more so headed to WB to see if I could remember how to surf. Not really, but that's another story.
