Glad you're safe. SE 30 to 40 is insane

Even David M blew all his gybes and others were swimming after their gear. Wow!

@Dave/C36 great pictures. Good to see Adrien and Johnny joined the Vancouver crew

Ikitesurf is not working for me but I see a strong wind warning SE of 15-25 for strait of georgia south of nanaimo .. Today is promising?

Might head to point roberts for a ride and some cheap gas!

Go to the Sup/surf thread, page 53,54,55 , that's the location. Easy parking. Break depends on tide and Saturna, otherwise it's flat.

not good today.

point roberts works when Saturna is over 25 knots SE or SSE.

check wind at :
https://weather.gc.ca/marine/weatherCon ... tionID=WEZ

Best surf is Saturna over 44 (we had a few days like that last February).
1 day , 3 weeks ago it was the best windsurfing conditions, 30knots+, surf 200 meters out (I was surfing alone), hard to tell when Saturna will overshoot forecast.
I surf there ( + I already posted about the place); if you read about it, you'll know when it's on. it may take some effort, I like this break and keep it on the down-low is appreciated.

Tide has to be under 12 ft for surf break to be out.

Epic day yesterday at CB. One for the ages. Glad Michael didn't get munched by a sea lion during his swim, and thanks Dave, as always, for immortalizing some of the moments with some epic shots!!! Johnny and Ryan certainly picked a good day to get acquainted with what the spot can offer...

So much fun at Columbia beach, wave riding felt like almost cross shore. Thanks Adrien for convincing me to go, and thanks Dave for the pictures.

Everyone's probably busy watching the PWA livestream but here's a few more from CB yesterday for your enjoyment pleasure. Good times. Wish I had my smaller gear.
