I just made a sacrifice to the wind gods by washing and drying my wetsuit. That usually guarantees wind within 2 days.

Tue Oct 25 - Rain. Amount 10 mm except 25 mm near the North Shore. Wind southeast 30 km/h except 50 near the water in the morning and early in the afternoon. Wind becoming light in the afternoon. Temperature steady near 12.

Always a good sign when EC Vancouver states wind speeds

Foiling yesterday at 3rd the weeds were not a problem, but big waves might break a bunch more free so worth taking just in case.

It's strange how weeds appear to be gone one day then appear the next. Luckily, my last 4 sessions were very manageable even with the weeds. More often than not, high tide and waves seem to help a lot.
