Has anyone ever correlated the reading at the Boundary Bay Airport with what is happening at 3rd Ave? For example if the airport reading is 10 knots easterly, would it be at least 10 knots at 3rd?

Lately I found the correlation poor. CZBB reads low and very easterly when it's SE and rideable at 3rd Ave. CZBB is only good when you want to ride at 72nd where I use the gusts to be the average.

Next to On Site Reports (OSR), I think the Blow-Me reading and Tsawwassen work best. Unfortunately, they only update hourly.

I've found the BB Airport sensor tends to read about 5-10 knots less than what's happening at 3rd on a SE or SSE day.

Is there any progress in getting an iwindsurf sensor back in BB?
