caught my kite on a barnacle covered rock as I was attempting to drift launch at sunrise:

2 foot tear on leading -$50 repair at north sails done in 2 hours

new leading edge bladder from ocean rodeo $50 and its in the mail

Any tips on installing a new leading edge bladder?

I've seen that happen before at the terminal Lucas. If I need to self launch there I always teather to my car and self launch in the car parking area because of that reason.

Wow - that's a good deal for tear repair + bladder.

Never had to completely pull out my bladder. However, you'll need some spare rope (kite line) before you pull out the original bladder so you can "fish" the new bladder back into the leading edge. Many videos show this. Best of luck.
