Might check out A-side in a bit once the traffic has died down.

OSR ambleside. Clearing. Wind is west, maybe 10 knots. Feels like it's increasing. Knee high surf on pebble side. Might wait and see a bit

Wreck, a waste of time, small surf for 45 min , looked good at 4pm, storm passed switched SW, cleared and wind died. At 730pm wind seemed to be going up. Frustrating.

Received a comment from an old guy at wreck " waves are in ocean, pretender" he said, poor guy could not go up the stairs... I pretended to paddle I guess, feeling good....hopefully tofino won't dissapoint in a few weeks ;)

A nice NW at Osoyoos lake today. It was blowing 10 SE, then it died for 10 minutes then instantly blew 25 knots NW. I launched my 9m from the garden of the house I'm staying in and had a great session. Supposed to continue through the night and blow tomorrow too. Fingers crossed.

Your session was much better than mine Tony.

My kite lulled as I passed through the trees to the beach so I had to quickly run to tension the lines and I stepped on a lose rock and ... pop. Tore one of the ligaments in my ankle.

Put a decent ding in my board after I tossed it get things under control with only one leg.

Looks like I'm off the water for a month. Hopefully less.

Sorry to hear. I hope it's not the ligament behind the ankle, takes a while to heal.
I have an air cast you may borrow (size 8-10) if you need it.

There should be an easier way to launch for you guys, that dog beach sounds like a nightmare.

Sorry to hear that! Total bummer. Hopefully it's only a sprain. I've had many sprains and quite a few of them made pretty disgusting pop and ripping sounds. Luckily with ice and elevation once swelling goes down, pain slowly goes away. You can look at taping your ankle. It's super easy to do, and provides excellent support. This will reduce the movement, and decrease the chance of rolling it again before you are fully healed up.
