Iona on my 16m 4:45-6:30. Enough wind ride upwind and jump and very very warm water. Went out with Gabriel and Ole and saw Chuck giving lessons to his pal. nice to get out for the first time in a while. Does anyone know if the guy got his kite out of the tree at dog beach ok? :?

We got lucky, planing non-stop 430-7pm at Iona, 7m-130litres. Meaning it was over 13knots gusting 16, a few water starts , got rid of the shakes.

Kite surfers all seem to enjoy it.

Good day on the water after an almost 2 week drought.

Out on my 12m + skim from 2:30-6:00, a bit light from 3:30-4:30 but wind was solid 16 knots after that.

Landed my first strapless backroll but I cheated and just used a grab. After watching Layne's video I figured I should just learn them with a grab first then move on to air force only.

Lots of others stuck on the beach unable to launch due to the nasty wind in there.

I think that kite in the tree was Philipe's Chrono, and it wasn't in the tree by the time I came back in so I'm assuming he got it out okay.

I managed to catch some of the breeze on the river outside the office during our work party yesterday afternoon! :D
