I was further up west at my home spot in West Van . I was out on my 15m and had to come back around 3pm to switch boards....did u guys see me too?

SW 18-20 at Ambleside. Pumping 12 m

En route to dog beach the traffic on the Lion's Gate bridge deterred me so I went to check out Ambleside. Found Gabe switching to 11m+surfboard after he got overpowered on 9m+foil (since 10am).

Scored a 2.5 hours (12:30-3pm) session on 12m+surfboard in SW 18-20 with Gabe, then Bill (13m+surfboard), then Eric (11m+surfboard) then Sean (12m+surfboard). Small chop with knee to waist high waves for some fun hero gybes. Some logs and freighter traffic. Furtherest out I've ever been (John Lawson Park) at Ambleside.

What a great weekend to score 2 consecutive local wave sessions.

Hey Marcus - I was just east of John Lawson park so I didn't see you. Bill was much further upwind so I'm certain he did.

Nice day at Dog Beach. On the water from 12:30 - 6:15.

Well powered on 12m + skim until 1:30 then it backed off. by 2:30 it was very SW and still good way out but nasty for the first 200m from the beach.

By 3:15 it was time to switch to the 17m, lots of wind for it + skim all the way until 6:00, then had to slog in to the beach as the wind was dying.
