Any chance squamish will be any good today? The Howe sound forecast is good, but the gradient doesn't look good at all. I gotta decide between squamish or something local around vancouver.

Looks like it'll be mostly frontal today, which means very gusty.

Looks like it will be similar to yesterday. Perhaps even gustier...

Finally mastered my duck gybe. I feel renewed again.

Hopefully by end of this season, I'll pick up air gybe (a.k.a vulcan)

Super steady, super smooth, super fun day at Squamish today. WSW 20-25 from 1-4pm perfectly powered on 7m+surfboard.

Ya, it was a fun day to cruise the bay on the 6.0/Futura, from Nexen to the south end of the cliffs for a while, then up past Darrell Bay and back to Nexen, etc etc. A perfect "two hour tour" (as long as I stayed away from the chop that extended well off the river mouth).
Low tide was a bonus, making it super easy to get out of the bay at Nexen - just walk out in the shallows!

Yet another classic Squamish day at the Spit. Steady SW 18-22 on 9m (75% depowered) + surfboard. First time this year I went strapless ... so much nicer ... like going commando. Got yanked a couple of times cranking S-turns but once I got used to it I discovered I can crank turns more aggressively strapless. Fun day :D
