Surprisingly steady SW 18-20 for a cloudy day. 2.5 hours of boosting on my 10m Franken kite. Got crowded at 3pm so called it quits.

Today may be the last good Squamish day for a while. Maybe an early start too.

Hate to rub it in ... but I didn't miss it :D :D :D

Early start today ... smooth and steady SW 20-25 ramping up to 25-30 - almost 4 hrs TOW. Had the honey hole all to myself on my 10m ghetto kite+TT with plenty of room for back roll attempts (all failures). Super lofty jumps.

When 10m became too much switched to 7m. Not quite enough for boosting so switched to surfboard. First time I ever jumped a surfboard without waves. Kept jumps small to prevent cracking my surfboard in half. Waves down by Nexen were smooooth - perfect for cranking gybes.

One of my favourite Squamish sessions this season.

I must say I am jealous, that graph looks awesome. We haven't had many days like that this year.

Solid. Worked through to 2 pm then took a chance on late afternoon wind and headed up. In my haste only grabbed one board and forgot my camera. The view from the highway looked like it was on fire! Got to Nexen about 3:30 pm, tide was high and word from the water was the wind just picked up a notch. Rigged 4.5 and took to the water. Some W in the wind (as reported) made it a touch tricky to get out of the bay with the ship in the dock, but pretty solid shore to shore so took a tour around - Malamute, honey hole, spit (scanned my dog tags to simulate value), river, bluff, windward mark and back down to Nexen. Lots of elbow room today (except for the 20-something foot black/white Trophy fishing boat leaving the marina - not sure what his plan was)! Playful semi-organized water almost everywhere. Some steep ramps at Nexen for jumping. Fun!

Sorry you weren't there M. Better than average for sure. At the end of the session Ross was saying late wind seemed steadier to him. For once the late session seemed to work well.

How come the graph posted by Alton is so different from the one from the SWS website? They sure tell a different story.
