I may try a late session tomorrow, what time does the sun disappear at squamish these days?

I got out of the water just before 7 ...so probably 6.30pm....but that applies to Nexxen....the spit was dark long before that.

Super steady SW 18 from 12-3pm - perfect on my 12m+surfboard. Full house today. Called it quits when it got gusty and overcrowded at 3:30pm.

Twisted. Wind went west and got really unsettled when the thunderheads passed through an spit some rain. Later in the session things settled and felt more normal.

Pleasantly surprised. Finally a real windy day. SW 18-25 for 2.5 hours on 12m. Kinda shifty and kinda gusty but very manageable and civilized. Started with twin tip but switch to surfboard to prepare for autumn. Fun boosting in gusty conditions ... some very lofty. Started getting crowded at 3pm so called it quits.

Fun day at Squamish. Almost forgot about the Grand Fondo so left early (8:30am) for Squamish. Only 20 minutes delay added to my commute. Francis and I were first on the water before noon on both 12m. Fun boosting our surfboards upwind of the river mouth. Water was smooth and wind steady (WSW 20) for 1.5 hrs before we came in for a coffee break.

Francis convinced me to downsized to 9m and glad we did. Crazy ass chop and wind was super gusty - yanked me off my surfboard a couple of times. Don't understand how other kiters held down their 12m but I got plenty of hang time on my 9m. 7m would have been perfect.

Got a little busy and I was wiped out so called it quits at 4pm.
