10 degree gradient tomorrow between Van and Lillooet.
NAVTEX has a S25knt inflow for northern sections of Howe Sound at 3 pm.
Hourly forecast has temperatures peaking at 1 and 2 pm for Vancouver and Lillooet
Oddly the gradient is very different according to the weather network though. Max for Van is 21 and Lillooet is 19C.

I'm tracking this tomorrow either way. Anyone else have this one on their radar?

EC gradient: check
EC Howe Sound: check
EC Lillooet (south 30 km/h gusting to 50 in the afternoon): check
EC cloud cover: decent

Those are my 4 indicators the cloud cover gives it move of a chance to be gusty.

Anybody get out today? We came back from Whistler at about 530pm and could see a couple of kites out still, but it didn't look epic. The spring slush on the mountain was a blast but we wondered how the wind was mid-aftenoon?

There were about 25 kiteboarders and a few windsurfers out on the water yesterday . Kite sizes 9-12 m and sail sizes 5.6 in the river and up in the bay. The wind was quite steady and fill in to Nexen from 1400 - 1700 . Great day after a couple of hours at Cypress and burgers on top of lions chair . Skiing was soft and smooth on the groomed runs . Most of the steeper runs closed due to lack of snow. Get there early for best conditions. It should be good for duel sport sessions Saturday and Sunday. 8-)
