Brad - this one is for you!
Short version: Head for Point Roberts or White Rock. With the higher tides (mid-3’s to 4 at 1 pm) and the spinning wind, I will likely make Point Roberts my first stop (but will adjust my plan based on actuals as I travel south).
Long Version:
Two twin lows (969 mb and 972 mb) are forecast to join join forces and travel across the middle of Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland today (good). Wind during the night saw winds S rotating to SE in the 20 to 30 mph range at Centennial, but the wind has rotated to
SW as of 6 am. The consensus forecast is for SW morning wind in the 20-30 mph range (with some swings back to S or maybe even SE) before tanking about 1 pm.

Again, hope to see lots of smiling faces today!
