SSE-S Saturday

There should be some nice morning leftovers from the big increase in SE winds set to happen overnight tonight. There's a call for winds to increase over the San Juans with gusts nearing 55 knots near midnight. The almost stationary front will slowly exit the area in the morning hours.

If you want a session tomorrow set the alarm EARLY. I would expect Locust to show SSE-S 20-30mph and locally SSE-S 20-25mph from first light until about 10am. The winds will die off in the afternoon and then back into the east and rise Saturday evening as the next powerful front takes aim.

Lots of wind opportunities over the next week for the early am motivated crowd :D

The big SE push is coming through down south as we speak. Looks like a few hours of crazy winds slowly winding down throughout the late morning. Aim for getting on the water at 7am for a solid morning session today :D

I'm really sore from Friday's epic session so instead I'm gonna binge-watch "House of Cards" on Netflix.

Fingers crossed for Sunday :) :D

Sunday dawn patrol looks good Alton. You could always get in a 2 hour 7 meter session in sweet swell from 7am-9am and still hit House of Cards afterwards.

Crap..........ate crow hard on that forecast Lucas. Many apologies for missing the mark by a country mile. Even Locust dropped from 30 to 11 knots in an hour. Didn't see that coming at all a few hours back

No need to apologize, I knew that this morning was a long shot. It was still blowing at 6:30 then dropped right off.

Chris, there are no wrong opinions. Everybody sees weather differently and helps on the overall picture.

Just had a solid session at 3rd Ave for about an hour and 15 min. Was about 10 knots. Rode 8' surfboard and 11m. Going back out again hopefully. Wind has died down more rn.
