The pressure tendency, falling rapidly, at Smith Island and Ault Field are also two more good indicators that the front is marching closer. I'm hoping to see Locust kick hard around 9-10am and Centennial shortly thereafter. Would have been a good day for Columbia too it looks like :D

Yup. That's where my gut told me to go, but just didn't have the energy required for the day trip (low-grate flu) ~ next time! :D even with the 'day fee' initiated for Mainlanders, it's still worth it! :D ;)

WindGuru GFS just did major upgrade to all day event, but ESE.

Hope the flu disappears Dave and you score some Centennial sweetness today! I see Locust is now SSE 28G38 and Cherry Point is cranking as well. Shouldn't be long before Centennial kicks off the party. Stoked for everyone able to get out today :D Sunday early am and Tuesday are showing promise right now too. Great stretch of local days for sure!

CNL was cranking SE 25+ when I left at 1:30 PM this afternoon and according to the BB Airport sensor it still looks good now. C36 was heading out on his 4.5 and Michael was rigging down from his 5.2 and Ryan was rigging something in the mid 4 range too. Waves were starting to form nicely so PR must have some great waves today as well.

Just woke up at 6:15am,12 hours ahead overseas, for work. Did the wind and waves materialize around mid to late morning as the pressure slopes and models were pointing to 12 hours ago when I last checked? The thread is blocked on my computer right now. Hope you guys got some good conditions.

Better late than never. SSE 25-30 finally arrived at 3rd Ave at noon. James, Bill, Jerry, Clay, Rob, Mike, Dave B, Colin and I enjoyed 9-10m conditions though the wind was shifty and gusty. By 1pm most kiters were way overpowered and called it a day.

From 1-3pm Dave B, Mike and I downsized to 7m and had 3rd Ave all to ourselves. Wind (SSE 30g35) and waves cleaned up nicely. Waves were sharp and steep - perfect for jumping. Outside chest high waves became 30' apart excellent for hero gybes and toe side rides.

Last on the water. Got way overpowered at 3pm so called it a day with big smiles.

SE was excellent , Saturna 30 knots 8 hours straight. George surfed 7 hours today. From 3 ft to 6 ft. Windy at PR after 5pm.
Darryl was there as well. Quality of waves were not that great at times but there was a ride. An unexpected session, thx Chris.
George must have set a new local record, 20+ hours of local surfing in 1 week!

Darryl, not all sessions are windy. Wreck beach has glassy sessions, with a clean wave most of the time.

Mike and I launched our 7's at 72nd at about 2:30. We were well powered and some big boosts ensued. As the tide fell we went upwind all the way over to third ave. Saw only two kites and a few windsurfers on the water. We went far out into the bay and caught a few waves. Nothing too big but really fun downwinder on the waves all the way back to 72nd. Few lulls in the wind and pretty gusty at times. I had great fun on the 7m vegas and Mike said his 7 park was a blast. Great afternoon!
