This could be a thing of beauty, or the classic 'toilet bowl', depending on how it unfolds.

Still a whole range of predictions - everything from E (WindGuru GFS, which I tend to trust), almost non-event SE (BWD-1/GFS Spotter, hoping the evening update improves), sold SE (BWD-2, which I don't trust for CNL), SSE (METAR TAF, which I'm glad to see) ~ time will tell ~

BWD-1 update showing front moving faster and showing morning evening tanking at noon (both here and on the island) ~ time to head off to bed and check early morning actuals.

Looks like SE 35-45+ mph at Locust from late morning until dark and SE 25-35 mph at Centennial from noon onwards. Nice SE push already developing over Whidbey at 3am and bonkers up near Columbia. Fingers crossed you guys have a great one today. The pressure slope and updated track of the low is looking much more promising compared to yesterday evening :D

CK/A: yeah it's starting to look more like 10am-2pm locally at CNL (METAR-TAF/BWD-2), and Locust 12noon-4pm (TJ's zoom). Plus outflows are week (good).

But the cautions are path of front (glancing blow/'toilet bowl'ish low with high to rear driving SE to us), BWD-2 for CNL (above), morning E (WindGuru GFS) and mid-day tank (BWD-1).

Holding tight for now.

Smith Island, Kelp Reef and Saturna all kicked up nicely at 6am too Dave. The pressure tendency, falling rapidly, at Smith Island and Ault Field are also two more good indicators that the front is marching closer. I'm hoping to see Locust kick hard around 9-10am and Centennial shortly thereafter. Would have been a good day for Columbia too it looks like :D

Saturna at SE 26 and Locust is gusting to 31. Heading to CNL or PR in hope that it pushes up this far.
