Looks like some wind coming our way. The forecasts are all over the place right now it looks like there could be 4 days straight with wind.

WR on Friday afternoon looks interesting...Is there any beach exposed near the 2.2m afternoon low tide or is it the super fun launch off the lawn with the trees?

2.2m sounds awfully low to me - probably sandbars. I'm certain Jeff/Tweegster can confirm.

"Solo launching/landing below 3.5 is easy as there is sand showing." Jeff wrote in Sept. Also the grass patch east of the park is a good option at high tide. If there is enough wind to kite, someone will be there to help launch. :P

Fingers crossed for tomorrow (wed) afternoon. Though it looks like gspot downgraded. Heard a few are headed to locust. I don't really want to make the drive across the border, hoping for something local. Gotta break that 10m woo height mark

Same here Matt, I'm hoping for 3rd ave in the afternoon, but i may head down to locust if there is nothing local. I still only have my light wind board, waiting for my new board to arrive.

updated every 10 minutes,no guessing (slightly North of Lummi bay)....

16-21 right now, and there is no way back.

actuals seem 20% more than forecast, probably 25-35knots by 3pm

locust 23-29knots already
saturna 17 knots, right now... 10 more knots needed

All looking good, glad I got my board&wetsuit&wax in the morning as for earliest forecast it did not seem to be happening, but cloud shape and calmness hinted otherwise.

Michael, expect good waves at BB as it will be building SE for hours, by the time it spikes and ready to windsurf it will get the extra height. enjoy (to me it's better than locust as there will be sweet spaced ramps at bb).

4pm-5pm it will be insanely good. May want to try PR if any energy left.

whidbey 29-38 SE right now, the back push needed. all aligned.
