Good call on locust Dave. I didn't see that so no passport

Launched Theo but by the time I set up the wind backed off. To add to the joy I tried to make it work anyways but just not enough. Would have rather swam in the pool as planned but I guess this way I got fresh air :).

We're hanging at Tim Horton's in Tsawwassen. Forecast says wind, so we're going to wait it out.

OSR Centenial wind picking up and you can see white caps out past the mile marker. Looking promising.

That was fun!! Glad everyone hung around, Dave you were missed, I hope you had fun at Locust though. Wind and waves were nice but you had to venture outside to get the good stuff. Big waves on the outside, was surprised at the size compared to the light wind. Rigged 5.2/102 and was worried I made the wrong choice as I slogged off the beach. I just kept going until I found the wind. Stayed outside for the entire session but came in a bit to work on my duck jibes. Blew the first few and wasn't prepared for how fast the new board turns but once I got used to it things got better. That board really rips in the waves, even with the single fin it turns so much faster than my RRD FSW. Can't wait to get it down to the coast or Long Beach. Great to see everyone again, I missed windsurfing, it's so much fun! :D

Yep, like Michael said. Early afternoon south wind windsurf session made up for my early frustration Barely stuck around and only did so on the wise optimism of others.
