Still a ways out, but it will be the first session of 2016 for many if it holds.

Then again a different forecast for Saturna isle:

Good surf session possible 7-9:30am at PR. Even Adrien, you may want to give it a try as it's 30-40knots.

G-Spot isn't looking too promising for Sunday.

NOAA is still holding but windguru has shifted to dawn patrol.

SE looks downgraded for Saturday/Sunday, peak is at night time, even with big gear looks weak.

25knots as base from Saturna Isle for decent surf at PR, otherwise a waste of time.

Soooo...

Marginal forecast, low temps but.... 2+ weeks since kiting last...

I am going to keep an eye on the actuals. Wifey has a course this weekend so I have to be home by 11 both days.

TJ's looks OK for a few hours in the morning but it's usually wrong for Centennial. I just need a little sign of hope though as I'm going out of my mind. :?

Check TJ's zoom - bullish on Locust from 8 am to noon. I'm loading the van tonight and will leave for Locust pre-dawn if actuals look good (have to be back in City for 2 pm). Tide is 7' (8 am), 9', 7' (noon) from memory.

6 am actuals:

Pam Rocks NNE 28 (gusting 34) knots
Centennial E 17 (gusting 20) mph
Locust NNW 7 (gusting 17) mph

Likely headed for look-see at Furry Creek, unless things change materially.

There's already enough wind to sail here so I'm staying close by. I'll take what I can get at this point.

Where and when is your ETA? I may end up heading south if FC doesn't look appealing.
