Showed up as Alton was coming off overpowered on his 7m. Hmmm need a 5M kite. Came home, looks like I will make the baby christmas party.

Still no whitecaps in White Rock

Thanks Michael - I feel better knowing that when wind became manageable (E 25) at 1pm (after I left) it was easterly, cold and nasty.

No problem! That was a nasty session, one of the worst this year for sure!

Maryam -- I have your Naish 3.0 sail cover. I'll keep it in my truck until we see next time.

Thanks. I was too cold and miserable to look for it. I was even willing to leave without all my gear :)
Funny thing is I still am happy I went out and played a bit, but man was I ever happier to come back home :)

I got on the water at 12:00 with my 7m and was overpowered. By 12:30 the wind dropped a bit and 7m was just about right. I didn't think it felt too cold. There was a good turn out for the afternoon shift, all on 5m and 7m.

At 3rd Avenue, Clay was first on the water on 9m at 8:30am in SE 25. Jerry, Lucas and I pumped 7m and waited until 9am when it ramped up to SE 25-30. Waist high waves with the occasional organized waves outside for some fun gybing. Inside waves upwind of 3rd Ave were steep and smooth. Sadly, this only lasted 0.5 hrs before dropping to SE 20. Everyone came in except Clay on his 9m.

Soon enough at 10am wind returned to SE 30 so we (Dave Culver, Joe, Jerry, Lucas and I) returned to the water on 7m. Waves were better organized and chest high but had to take gybes slower as wind got stronger and stronger. By 11am after everyone came in, it reached SE 35g40 and it was time to quit survival kiting.

After 11am (shift change) 5m kites hit the water (Faceplant, Rob D, James and Francis). Francis reported super smooth rollers and steady SE 35-45 was fun easy riding on 5m until it dropped at 12:45pm to E 25. Sounds like the 5m kites scored the best conditions of the day ... totally jealous.

Epic time on 5m and surf board between 11 and 1. When the wind ramped up it was super smooth between waves. Even when the wind shifted east the 5m was more than enough. :D

Boy am I ever glad that hangover took charge today after hearing's Michael's OSR! Looking forward to checking out the spot in PR on the next big one - looks like a cheap alternative to CB and much better for wave action than CNL.

CB looked juicey again today... My Kode 82 is in with Rob now for fixing/switching to US box twinser only. Probably won't be ready until the new year.
