Another SE Sunday?

The early bird gets the worm - just not lost surfboards. Arrived at 3rd Ave to find AJ riding solo. At 10am we switched - AJ walked his dogs then I was riding solo lit on 9m+surfboard (Cash's). Not quite as good as Saturday morning since waves were closer together but still breaking waves and sharp ramps perfect for jumping. Pretty awesome since it was warm, sunny and had 3rd Ave all to myself in SSE 25g30 until James, Francis, Jerry, Rob D, Steve G, Matt, Sean and Clay arrived at 11am when it eased off to a steady SSE 20.

Just about to call it a day at the 12:30pm lull but returned to the water when it came back to SSE 20-25 from 1:30-3:30pm. Very choppy especially upwind of 3rd Ave until waves cleaned up after 2:30pm for any epic late afternoon session with Dave B, Roxstock, AJ, Jaryn ... Could have stayed out longer but it was getting dark.

Great way to end the weekend with 2 consecutive SE sessions :D :D :D

Was fun today but was really hoping the real wind would show up earlier. Looks like Tony got a taste of it. Did you sail until dark? A few minutes ago my wife said "it sounds like the trees outside are going to come down on the house" so I stepped outside my door to take a look and thought that feels like 40 knots, guess I was right! Night Winds

Yup... my best friend knows me so well he called me up earlier to ask me if I was going night windsurfing  Apparently it's cranking in kits too. Traffic lights are horizontal.

100. First time hitting this high-watermark for me and special that it happened on the year I turned 50 and allowed me to double my age in sessions. It happened by accident, I just enjoyed the year of spending time in magical places and sharing moments with some pretty wonderful people doing something that makes my heart sing.

As for the session it was mostly big gear weather with moments that hinted at something more. The really special part was sharing the session with some I have been sailing with for decades and some that I have only gotten to know recently. Sweet!

Happy 50 and 100th! It is always a true pleasure to sail with you or have the on beach chats. You are an inspiring kind gentleman. Better get my back loops too by the time I get 50 :)

Say, one would "Wooooo." All celebrate this auspicious moment, let us. Of the year perhaps 110 days by the end, hmm? Congratulations!
