Had over three hours powered on my 7.5m and surf board at 3rd. Worked my way upwind to Lilly Point. By the time I got up there the wind picked up and was lit with some really nice rollers coming in. Really smooth waves had me staying for an hour with a nice hour down wind session back to 3rd. I was tempted to keep going around Point Roberts but decided against it.
Tried Iona 14-18knots on SE wind, parking 5m away from sandy beach, easy launch at high tide. 2 hours, left of jetty, not slappy's kite beach, by 4pm wind picking up, water quality not an issue. 7m/Roberts windsurfing at speed on smooth water.

Only in Vancouver where you can snowboard in the morning and kiteboard in the afternoon and party at night if you have the stamina. This city is the best in the whole world.
Took me just around an hour to get to Lily point.Could have been quicker but wasn't lit for the first 45 min. Totally worth it at high tide when the waves are disorganized at 3rd.
