Nothing in the forecast. Which model are you looking at?

No worries. Others have also been talking about Friday because yesterday's models looked promising but not today's updates.

Let's leave it. Just in case the models upgrade.

Hey Alton,

I see S-SSW 5.0-5.7 / 10-12 Meter wind tomorrow from dawn to late morning, possibly even noon, at 3rd, Point Roberts, Crescent and the terminal on the models I look at.

That cold front is supposed to stall with the low filling slowly. This should equate to a solid half day of wind locally tomorrow. The earlier you get on the water the better, think 7am.

BWD, G-Spot, NOAA and EC all show nothing locally for tomorrow...........we shall see :D You could always head to Useless Bay on Whidbey if you want a full 9 hours of 7-9 meter wind :D

Cheers,

Chris

That's what I want to hear. On standby! Wonder if it will reach Ambleside?

Check this out Alton. High wind advisory just issued for Bellingham, Whatcom County and the San Juans for tomorrow's cold front. Great news for any beach locally that works on S-SSW direction. I'd be inclined to hit third with the low tide. Easy to get out a few hundred meters to the wind and nice waves. I'll post a forecast / model summary about 5:30am tomorrow.........I've got the day off work over here :D
