110% Jack. Pump that thing up in the dark so you can launch as soon as you can see. I expect the show to be over by late morning. You are going to miss the bus if you show up at 8:30 am then have to rig and suit up. Nothing more frustrating then arriving late and watching the wind die.

Hey Jack,

Sisters Island has dropped from W27mph at 2:00am to W7mph at 5:00am. Entrance Island has also dropped from W16mph to W5mph over the same period. However, Sandheads has increased from W6mph to W15mph and the airport has slowly increased too. With a little luck the wind from the Northern Strait of Georgia earlier will trickle into English Bay for an hour or two of power at first light. The gradients from Comox to YVR have been weakening steadily since it switched Westerly at midnight
