You'll get your wind at 3rd today. Like C36 said, its ramping up everywhere to the south and has been the last 5 hours. That wind will push up to 3rd. I'd be inclined to be on the water at 7:30 at Locust........it's very windy there right now. If 3rd is your only choice start driving when the actuals start to come up steadily. The front still hasn't passed Jack which means the winds will still strengthen and the barometer will still fall. As soon as Trial Island and Race Rocks switch to west with a rising barometer your hours of SE winds are limited to a few only. Neither have switched as of 6am. Your in good shape for 3rd

For real Tony The four guys kiting on the webcam looked pretty powered. Hope it comes back strong after the rain passes. Formula Gear wind strength is not much fun.

Sorry Jack if you drove down for nothing at the moment The gradients are setup way too favourably to not get wind at 3rd this morning. Be patient, it will get there shortly. Probably just a heavy rain band momentarily shutting it down.

Westerly switch through JDFS and rising pressures as of fifteen minutes ago. You should get about another 2-3 hours of wind at 3rd before it starts backing off and switching to S-SW. Enjoy it well you can Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday will be good this week too.

Really good day ar locust. I started on a 7m and was overpowered so I went with a 5 m . Most guys stayed on 7m kites. There was still good wind when I left at noon.
