As I drove home at 4:30 the usual suspects were out at WR, looked OK too. Now that it is dark it is cranking, windows are shaking & rattling.

Had fun at 3rd with everybody, got some TT and surfboard time. I still am pretty awkward on the surf.

Awesome day. Started at 11am and finished by 5pm. 8m kite and 4.5m windsurf sail.

Got my fix so I'll be nice for now.

Great way to end the weekend at 3rd Avenue! Arrived at 11:30am to find disappointing conditions and considered heading down to Locust. Glad we didn't. Started with up and down 12m conditions (SSE 15-18) so I just let Junior have all the fun.

By 2:30pm Junior was getting overpowered on 12m so she took the 9m then it was finally my turn. Scored the last 1.5 hours overpowered on 12m+surfboard in SSE 20-25. Choppy but some nice small swell outside for some gybing fun. Had to call it quits when it hit SSE 25-30 - way too scary on 12m.

Good turn out today. 20+ kiters on the water.

Wind was mostly 10 to 15 knots for the early afternoon, just like Ho‘okipa. Occasional puffs of wind. Flat water.

After some guys left, around 3:00, the wind increased to around 20 to 25 knots. The water was still mostly flat with occasional 2' swell.

Was cloudy. Some precipitation in the early afternoon.

20 to 30 windsurfers.

The beach-side McCafé® was available with free coffee and hot chocolate. Delicious.

On the water from 12-4, wind was up and down but never to much/little for my 10m. With so much East in it today I went down to the US side of the bay for the first time and the wind was much better there. Since I was already half way there I decided to head down to Lilly Point but the wind started to die once I got about 500m from it.

Very disappointing waves today though.

It finally turned out to be a great day when the wind and waves showed up around 3:00. I just checked and that's when the tide was around 3.3 M. You had to go far outside to get some wave action but it was sweet, felt like a real Centennial day. My 5.2/110 was getting too much to handle but stayed out anyways until it finally started to drop off. Great to see everyone out today!

Woody. Lots of peps came out, but it was cooler, wetter, gusty and shifty with lots of wood in the water. Fun sailing upwind with Lubo toward 3rd and then playing on the outside with Brian to head back down to reach M and AG. Followed M one wave back for some backside turns then traded places. M thought one transition was too close, but not sure what he was concerned about (there was no paint transfer). Saw AG bang off two clean forwards. The last hour saw some of the better wind and water.

Had a sweet one hour+ session perfectly dialed on a 4.5 and 93l, sure made up for standing around in the rain for a couple of hours and watching the schlog fest. Luckily I never lost faith in Chris Klohns forecast and rigged it right before the wind finally filled in. Ok, maybe I had a few curses directed at Chris and his rosy forecast that dragged me out, but at the end he was right, and I got to sail the power hour :D
