What's with the Tofino updates Dave? Also with the Sept-2 names? How does this relate to this topic?

Looks like most of the wind may have hung off-shore

Michael is over there today - hopefully sailing Long Beach - I'm following along from afar (all pictures are from today, Oct 2, even though some are mislabelled as Sept). Pictures posted here so M can see what we saw and can report back on what he got.

As for posting them in this thread, I am pretty sure this is the same front that folks here have been watching to arrive at Acadia/Spanish Banks today ("Westerly Friday PM") and thought some might be interested in seeing how quickly or slowly it was advancing.

Sorry for the confusion. I'll try and stay on-topic in future - marine mammals, right? :D ;)

LB report from M: "No wind awesome waves. Sailed a bit just too light even to sup sail. Sup all day best sup Session ever done. BWD even mentioned how nice and big the waves were. On my way home just stopped for dinner PA...."

Said he was really glad he went. 8-) :D
