hopefully NW will get here before it gets dark ... Richi needs a break.
Calm at Columbia beach (0 knots, 12 noon).

we may need night vision.

as soon as sisters gets past 15 knots it's all good.

I'm going to WB for an evening paddle if windsurfing isn't an option later, hopefully someone's down there to remind me where the rocks are.
I'm still buzzing from paddling with a grey whale last night for half an hour in the fog. It was circling around kits beach feeding on the smelts, it was just circling for half an hour and you could paddle right beside or behind it as it went down and up. it went under my board at one point and came up right beside me, the noise from the blow hole startled me and almost knocked me off the board :D Vancouver is a pretty cool place to live :D

Careful with the whales. A friend of mine was snorkeling in Baja. Got too close, whale didn't know he was there and contacted each other. THe whale freaked, flipped snorkeler up out of the water with tail, and tail came down with enough force to flatten a car, luckily missed snorkeler by 1 foot!

One time a buddy of mine, Jonah, was eaten by a whale.
