Wind definitely dropped off at the ferry terminal. Lots of kites on the beach.

Any OSR for Jericho? I'm at kits beach and it's about 14 knots and I can see 1 kite out at Jericho.

I got suited up and by the time I got back to the Bach it had dropped to about 10 knots. Gave up waiting after about an hour and came home for a cup of tea.

Disappointing. Garry Point teased today and rolled around but never really happened. Stopped in a dawn for a look-see and even though the Sand Heads sensor was reading 20 there was nothing inland and only about 6-8 at the beach. Decided to salvage some of the morning and headed off to Wreck Beach to SUP in the wind swell (whole different animal and took some time to adjust). Still nice to get out and play in the wind swell (not the day M had yesterday I am sure). Then quick check at Acadia and back to Gary Point. Rigged in the peak of the wind and then took to the water in far less ~ strange day that.

Good morning at the terminal. Rode from 9 AM to 11:30, nicely powered on my big gear. Wind came up a few times and I sized down to my small board. Nice sunny morning.

Wore my new Pro Motion Exo-skin Orange top, I bought after a recommendation from Steve. It is basically a tight fitting stretchy rubber shirt with a fleecey lining. It did not hold water and I sweat my bag off the whole time. It will be perfect for winter, blocks the wind and adds warmth and visibility.

WR blew good from 1:30 until 4:00 as well, everyone out on 11-17M kites. I had a buddy visit from out of town so I did not ride, beers on the patio instead.

Ended the day with a visit to the Indian food trucks at the Diwali festival at West Beach.... Turns out our baby loves butter chicken and bollywood dance groups.

And now to end the festival of lights is a firework show.
