The snow making machines were on all morning. Soft double mm powder on the limited runs off of eagle chair. Best session this season. I 'll plan on a 08:30 ETA tomorrow's forecasted 11 cm.
Saw Alton coming up as we were driving down.

Nice soft pack conditions this afternoon. Starting to ride switch more aggressively.

Let's see what tonight brings. Leaning towards Cypress if fresh snow because now I got a Xmas party after my daughter's Xmas concert - don't want to be rushed Friday.

Looks good at Boundary Bay but I'm snowed in North Van. Also trying to figure out the traffic situation. Might be wiser (timing wise) for me to stay on the north shore. TBD

Traffic reports aren't good. Looks like a loooong and stressful drive from North Van to Tsawwassen.

I'm going to pass on Centennial and try Cypress today.

Michael - enjoy your last SE session of the year.

Should be a great day at Cypress. Lots of snow out here and the wind is backing off so I'm going to wait and see what happens. Have a good one but drive safe.

Hi Michael,

You probably saw it already but Ebey Landing is SE 23 Gusting 30 right now and 5 degrees celcius in light rain. Forecast is great all day for SE winds. Just wanted to let you know if you didn't already.

Cheers,

Chris

Had a good hour at Centennial. Solid 20-25, waves were about waist high but there was lots of space between them and you could really build up speed for jumping and lots of room for clean jibes. I forgot how much fun this place is to sail, I love it. The only problem was the snow blasting in my face. I should have worn ski goggles. 8-) Not sure if I'll see you guys and gals again until the new year so I hope you all have a great Christmas holiday and I'll see you in the New Year. :D

Had a good 1 hour session with my 9m kite today. Cold the first 20 minutes then got more comfy afterwards. Could have stayed longer but back to work now. And what do you know, my colleagues put a box of Tim Horton's doughnut for me. Great 2013. See you next year. Off to Calgary Alberta this Xmas hopefully to get some snow kiting session in the prairies or Alberta lakes.
