Might be worthwhile to check out Acadia, Spanish Bank or Jericho

Too light everywhere today to use up precious vacation time. Squamish is still outflowing as of 1230. Jericho looks good for Formula or Foil folks.

I'll try Iona beach again 5-7pm as long as strait winds over 16knots, it usually has 3+ knots over Jericho (facing strait).
tide's all good, over 14 ft.

17 at airport but tide is too low right now (jericho ~12).

At least iona has secondary treatment, primary treatment at ambleside smells worse when surfing.

@iona after 50 ft West from East beach parking it's all good at Iona, bonus is the swell

Also from parking lot to water is about 20 meters, ready to launch at 14 ft tide, no hassle.

at 0.5mHB you can do front loops, etc., if 15knots+. it's got a soft ramp.

I may join you at Iona if it's still blowing and there is not enough at Jericho/kits.

When I kite Iona I like to walk about 10 minutes up the North Jetty and launch there even if the tide is high enough to kite from the main beach. The duck pond water (not sewage) flows in to the main beach and leads to a nasty grey water there.

Iona looks good. strait wind yesterday was 17, it's now 20 @ 4pm; it's a repeat.
I used a 7m sail, planing without issues with my floatie roberts 130, should be the same as yesterday hopefully lasts for a while.

as you approach the rocky jetty surf is clean and jump ready (knee-waist high) clean no cross waves.

YVR sensor is only reading 9 knots, and I find that pretty accurate when I'm there.

Iona under 10 knots, physically there. Why 15 knots showing in strait @ ikitesurf website? There is no way that strait has 15 knots, not a single white cap in sight.
Short drive anyway.
Well ... what's on tv...
