Full weekend between yesterday at Squamish and today at Acadia! 4.8m and 80l Evo was a winning combo. Super fun backside hits on the way in and jumping with some backloop ramps on the way out! Awesome windsurfing turnout.
Saw DavidB/DavidM? hit an awesome backside aerial on his strapless kite combo and land right back into the pocket of the wave, super clean!! I don't often give kiters props, but that was f#cking sick!!

I concur. Awesome weekend with the biggest turnout I've ever seen at Squamish (Sat), Acadia and Spanish Banks (Sun). Dave Bush has some serious skills - both as a windsurfer and kiter.

Serious? How do you get 40 cars in the small Acadia parking lot. They must have parked and walked from Dog Beach. I counted at least 10 kiters up at Acadia including Dave Bush, Clay, Rob W, Lorne, Reggie ...

Favourite session of the year so far at Hatchery North. Pretty amazing to see the parking lot full of windsurfers, kiters and supers, pretty cool to see the whole lawn sprawled with sails as well. 4.5 and 70l ensured that I had 3 hours of over powered sailing, I dont think I have ever sailed with so many people at Acadia before. I would give today a 9.5 out of 10, if only Alton would have graced us with an upwind visit it would have been perfect

Some windsurfers left early, opening parking for late comers. There were a lot of car poolers too. A couple of windsurfers even arrived via bicycle! Congrats on minimizing the carbon footprint!!

That's awesome. I think this is the first time windsurfers outnumbered kiters ... and there were a ton of kiters at Spanish Banks

Awesome Day! I've heard about these elusive Acadia days but never have I experienced one until now! 
Glad I left Point Roberts in a hurry, got down to Acadia in record time just as the first shift was coming in to rig down. Saw Mike rigging his 4.5 so I went with the 4.7/80L, perfect most of the day but there were a few moments when I was out of control. When the tide dropped there were some really nice ramps to try back loops. First one wasn't intentional just hit it and started rotating around so I went for a bunch more. Wasn't really getting enough height but it was fun trying, until it started to hurt then it wasn't. Best day at Acadia for me so far, hope there are more to come this fall. It was so great to see so many windsurfers!

Today was fun at Acadia. Launched from dog beach on a 9m and was overpowered so I pumped up a 7m and it was just right. A great turnout today, lots of kites and windsurfers. I will have to get to Jericho more often !
