Wind guru is calling for a westerly on thurdsay to line up with the low tide at Jericho.

I'd expect W10 at YVR will probably be W14 with the thermal kick near the sailing center today. Sadly I can't make it though.

Aren't NWs typically big dry clearings? Or was that a very poor joke, Tony?

Looks like the fog bank finally burned off and the thermal kicked in, whitecaps on the webcam and 14g20.

I got out at Jericho for 1 hour 4:30 to 5:30. The wind was light, on my 12m and big twin tip just managing to stay up wind. Tony Alton Danny and some others were there enjoying marginal conditions.
