And I thought this winter was supposed to be a strong El-Niño year with no wind and no snow. The top of Baker picked up 21cm yesterday............in August! Have fun out there today :D

Serious? I'd be happy enough with SSE 15 to test my 12m Blade Trigger :D . If SSE 20-30, I can test my 9m Blade Trigger :D :D

Boundary Bay looks nice now for kiting, 12g16 and sunny, lots of white caps on the webcam. Hope it picks up later when the tide comes in, if not Monday dawn patrol should be sweet.

Tempting. It beats sitting at home with no power or hot water, but is still a little light for my 11m. I'd love to see it pick up a little.

Fun session at 3rd Ave. Shane (15m foil), AJ (8m) and I (12m) scored a session SSE 12-16 gusting 20 from 11am to 3:30pm with clean little knee high waves outside of Centennial. It felt like a windsurfing convention with windsurfers Shane, AJ, Mike, Liviu, Chris, Francis and I all kiting  Over a dozen kiters out but a few late arrives got skunked.

Love the 12m Blade Trigger. Turns surprisingly fast for such a big kite - perfect for aggressive gybes. Downloops were tight and predictable.

Congrats to Shane on his progress in kitesurfing. He had the most time on the water. Non-stop from 11am to 3:30pm.
