Wind guru is saying afternoon lining up with the low tide, which would be nice. I'm not sure if the sandbars will show but should be able to walk out for a better launch.

Strange wind today at Dog Beach, much worse than the graph suggests. Gusty near shore, kite fall out of the sky holes near the edge of the bank, then fairly steady 15-20 in the bay past the marker with decent swell. No breaking waves at all, but I didn't get to Upper Acadia, it was a struggle to get to the west marker with all the holes.
Not the best day - a lot of slogging - but better than work and closer than Squamish.
