I'm still happy to go south avec moi nexus card but I remember hearing SW was not so good for Locust. Maybe I'm wrong.
Getting excited !

I don't think it will be SW. Maybe SSW. I heard mixed opinions on SW so I'll probably be at Locust at 3pm this afternoon.

I'm working until 2:30, and probably going to check out 72nd if it's ssw. If it's se then obviously I will go to 3rd ave.

3rd looks good right now...Unfortunately I left my wetsuit and harness at home so I probably won't make it down there. Hopefully someone gets some!

Osr 72nd. 15 knots from the south east and the tide is a long way out.

Great day at Locust. Scored 2.5 hours (3pm - 5:30pm) on 10m+surfboard in S 25g30 diminishing to S 18 at 5pm. Started solo for the first hour then Dave (KPS) arrived on 14m+TT. Smooth breaking waves waist high at the shelf upwind of the pier - gybe heaven in the waves. Unfortunately late arrivals got skunked. Glad to see Paul with his new Tomo surfboard - very sweet!

I hate work!
I sat on my ass all day doing nothing. Yes, I said it. Looking at the graph was disturbing.
Oh well. Very happy you scored Alton. Saw some promise around 4:30 but at that point i was reluctant to pull the trigger as there was not much promise in any forecasts. Glad I went home. Quality family time, great meal, a glass of red wine as the wind had died. I wouldve been one of the unlucky late arrivals.

There were about six kites, three windsurfers and three paddlers on SUP's out.

Wind squalls in the sun. Wore my shorty (first time ever for me at CNL). Brief cameo by RyanCR500.

72nd with Roxstock and adam till dark, was fantastic 3.5 hours TOW, steady wind for a SE. Started out on my 15, got scary lit. Had to eject onto shore, full de-power, bar at stopper and could not hold my ground bringing the kite down to Mark  . Went out still super lit on my 10M, could have ridden my 7 easily.

Wooo hooo, good times.
