Hopefully I will see you there Alton! I missed yesterday due to work and child minding obligations. I really need to get better at applying your marital and parenting advice.

Losing confidence in Acadia today so I'll probably head up to Squamish today. Best of luck with Acadia/Dog Beach

Jericho sensor reads WSW 14g17. Forget about Squamish!

Leaving work now. See you there. Can I borrow your pump? Mine was stolen off the beach in Penticton.

I'll leave a pump under my red Toyota Corolla at Acadia. ETA 10:30

Tent dwellers watch from the bushes to see where you hide your keys and belongings. Then they steal!

EC's 10:30 update was a big downgrade for SB. Airport forecast looks decent but I'm going with Squamish for today.

Session 102 - METAR/TAF delivers! Tony360 (10m+surfboard), Derek/Dirk (11m), Urm (11m) and I (10m+surfboard) scored a 2 hr session from 11am to 1pm at Upper Acadia. Steady WSW 15-18 with smooth breaking waves 30' to 40' apart! One of the better Acadia sessions - almost as good as Canada Day. So much fun nailing hero gybes, down loops and toe side/front side wave rides.

Tony360 - you only missed 20 minutes of good wind/waves after you left. Too bad Bill only caught the tail end of the awesome Acadia session.

Slappy and Francis - good you went to Squamish because you would have arrived too late at Acadia. Now you can treat yourself to 7m conditions (WSW 25g30  ) at Squamish!

That was fun! Mostly well powered on 10 and surfboard. Nice lined up knee to waist high waves with fun steep sections. Not as big as July 2 but clean and punchy. As usual the nicest waves were in the rocky corner directly north of UBC's Gage Towers. I tried going further west for a while, but noticed that the further west you go there are several barnacle-covered shallow boulders just waiting to bust out fins or remove some skin from a surfer.

Bonus of the session was coming in, a lovely Wreck Beach nudist was doing a photo shoot with her friend in the shallow water. There was only a small sandbar showing so I was forced to land very close to her. Her photos did not look to be ruined and hopefully they will make their way onto the internet soon.
