Looks like the wind finally arrived after dark. Maybe there will be some left over for those lucky enough to not have work in the morning.

Looks like we may have some wind in the morning. Thinking Acadia as I have to head into the office downtown afterwards. Will check the updated forecast in the morning and decide.

The Sand Heads sensor just jumped up to 28 knots so Tsawwassen should have jumped as well. I sailed Garry Point Park this past Sat and Sun morning and it wasn't windy until you got within a few km of the water.

I can see whitecaps via the Acadia Camera but I can't tell if it is pushing in to Acadia or not. Thinking I might head to Garry Point Park again as I know it will be windy there.

Garry Point was good from 6 to 7AM (20-25kts) then started dropping off to below 18 by 8AM. Myself (windsurfing) and a Kiter (Ravi) out on his 10m. It was close to high tide so not much current in the river, just knee to thigh high rollers coming through. Anyone get out at Tsawwassen? How was it? DB
