I'm thinking of taking a trip up to Merritt and wondered about windsurfing on Nicola Lake. How consistently is it windy on the lake? Where is the best place to launch from.

WindGuru shows in the later afternoon/evening everyday this week except Monday when it will crank hard all day.

My favorite launch for windsurfing is the first pullout east of the sailing centre. There's a small plaque (windsurfer memorial).
