You're practically getting barreled!!! :D

The fall winds are just around the corner. It's going to be a good fall/winter - I can feel it!

Very cool. Maybe you can use the same surfboard when you start kiting ;)

I was thinking about that! I've been practicing jumping the wake with the rope, I think it should help when I start sailing strapless. I don't think the board will work well as a kitesurfer though. It would suck going up wind, it's like a skimboard with fins, very skatey.

This is how we do it on Shawnigan Lake: https://youtu.be/queKWsrKun8

Wakesurf boards have tons of crossover as kiteboards. My Shinnster rides great on the wake and my other kitesurf board is a Slingshot SP in wake construction.

That's pretty amazing! I'd love to try that wake surfing. Unfortunately no friends with ski boats.
Oh well. I guess I just keep on fishing. :o

Nice! Awesome progress!!! :D :D :D

Wake (wave) looks larger and cleaner with extra ballast. :D

I would agree it is harder than it looks. I only tried it once, but every time I ried to through the rope into the boat I lost the wave.

Enjoy the endless wave(s)! :D

great way to get a long wave ride. Yes, I agree with Adrien, it will be a great year; long range forecast "cold and dry" means more NW than usual at fall time; and some decent local surf for Ulu, at least we got a few local surfing days in the past summer months. what we are missing is glassy/1.3mhb (not blown out) for slappy. i am going to Kauai for a week, I'll report if any kitesurfing action there worth mentioning, someone was asking in the past.

Until now! I'll be bringing the boat back to Van at the end of August. I'll try to arrange a surf day for those interested sometime in September, work permitting.

Nice! Awesome progress!!! :D :D :D
Thanks Dave, got my son going the other day as well.

Very gracious offer! :D Hope those attending will cover fuel costs or I could anticipate a long line-up resulting in a rather expensive day for the host. :D ;)
