Sisters just went NE, whole thing may shut down in 1 hour. Hope Richi had at least 30 min of fun.

Odd that EC's straight forecast was for SW 10-20, I guess they thought this system would pass to the North of us.

The system is passing to the north of us and there is SW further south. Looks like what is happening is there is band of W being pushed through. Looks interesting and looks like it could be sustained for a while.

The sky is looking angry and this sea gull looks to be headed to Acadia. Maybe we should follow his lead? :D ;)

but Columbia beach is still cranking at WNW 22.0 kts ... and steady.
It may seem a shutdown in the short term but it'll come back
I would follow Dave/C36.

Surf at WB very possible now. If hits 0.7m, lunch break.

Just noticed the wind has tanked on the west coast of the island and WILD surges of up and down wind pulsing through Straight of Juan de Fuca. :o

Dave , take a look at Columbia beach, It's just steady at 23knots. That wind has to come down. I am hopeful so I would say : 11:30am-1pm best wind ever at Acadia.

My GUESS is that waves might be a safer beat than wind today (assuming HB shows something). I'm staying put for now.

I just can't ignore 40knots NW (columbia beach). Halibut bank 0.6meters for now. Expecting more.

Wreck beach (for 2 hours 1130eta). Short an sweet hopefully.

Ulu, if online, and you got 2 hours.

I think the sensor is off, it seems to be jumping all over the place. The web cam does not look like 40 knots and the sensor is showing 16 knots in that shot and then a few seconds later it was up to 35.
