Strange evening at Acadia complete with rain, kites, solo session, boiling boulders, backside rides at Wreck Beach with surfers, and long walk home ~ rode one of the largest waves I have ever seen off Tower Beach on the way back down, just west of the edge of the bank (it was shoulder to head high and I was WELL up the face). Wind was super light and had to pump and lean way forward to catch it even with 'big'gear.

C36/Dave showed up windsurfing , wind was not cranking, still planing, but kudos for Dave for making it to WB! as he must've been the first windsurfer at WB. Sorry I couldn't stay longer. I had to leave as brother was tired after surfing for an hour (didn't surf for a year).

Ulu showed up at 7:30pm.

HB dropped to 0.6m quickly. I can't determine if it's worth 5:30am-7am tomorrow morning (if I see 0.7mhb at 4am I'll go)

GB: Nice to see you surfing up at WB! 8-)

Speaking of which, tomorrow morning looks like it could be a good for PR.

8-) Tide is almost slack (slight ebb in the mid-3's) until about 10 am. I'll take a look at the actuals when I get up. If you see something M please OSR. Thanks! :D

BWD and G-Spot forecasts for the morning look promising. I may take the morning off and join you guys in PR if it still looks good first thing. Darrell

Michael I don't have much experience with PR and that surf break. It has always been there but I can never determine when it will break. Always open to hear info about PR.
I may not make it tomorrow, somehow sisters is not cranking yet, hopefully it will for you guys.
Ulu may be going to wb at 5:45 am. Please post if anybody will joining him, only if 0.7mhb.
Dave, a few sets are head high at 0.9, and yes in Vancouver. I am still waiting for HB to read 1.4m+.

Good to see you out there yesterday AJ - I think you called my kiting your parallel universe :) First full 9M session. Time to start dabbling in toe side.

BTW: itching for a good windsurf session.

Didn't bother going this morning, HB at 0.3.
Fun last nite though but didn't last long at all. Showed up around 7:15-7:30ish, caught in traffic on the lions gate but got few small rides.
Too much water at the end and few curious seals.
Can't wait for another session. Didn't get enough, but I guess we never get enough ;-)

The rumours of surfing there are true - I have seen guys surfing both longboard and shortboards (fish) there. I'll post a link to some pictures when I have a moment.

C36, please, post pix, I am quite curious of what's going on there at PR.
Thks
