Similar forecast to today for next Monday afternoon. Cold front and trough of low pressure forecast to move inland. High pressure to build in behind with moderate to strong onshore flow through the Strait. Worth keeping an eye on 72 hours out...........

Looks like a good day again for JWSP 20-30+ knot west winds. Double session Locust am and JWSP pm or just go straight for the burrito and full day in overhead waves :D

Whidbey NAS TAF looks too risky. Locust is closer and a safer bet.

TAF Forecasted Apr 13 1:00 am
Mon 1am S 7
Mon 4am SSE 12
Mon 8am-2pm SE 15g24
Mon 4pm WSW 14

Maybe I'll consider an evening session at Whidbey after Locust if Whidbey TAF upgrades and I have enough energy left.

Perfect. Other Canucks will be at Locust. I've got a conference call 11:30am - noon. I'll show up early, suit up, take my call then pump up at noon.

TAF Upgraded too Alton........I don't think it's risky at all from 1pm until dark. Might be better just going straight to JWSP rather then dealing with Locust and a quick moving cold front?

JWSP just turned on! Big WSW wind and swell pumping down the Strait. Upwind Buoy is already reporting 8 feet at 6 seconds. Should be an afternoon and evening full of overhead waves, big swell and strong wind for the guys that made the trip :D
